Lake Erie Chapter-FFI 2 Person Fly Fishing Team Outing Saturday April 27, 2024 Upper Cattaurgus Creek 7:30am to 1:00pm Will meet 7:30am at DEC parking area on Route 16 at the bridge over the Catt (just past Tim Hortons on the same side of the road) to choose teams and select fishing locations. Annual RAINBOW PARADISE TRIP: Rainbow Paradise Fishing Park in Coudersport PA Wednesday May 8, 2024-Coudersport PA, 8:30am-4:30pm. The cost is the same as last year, $20.00/member & is NON REFUNDABLE. Also you will have to be paid up in advance. NO money will be accepted at Rainbow Paradise. If we don’t have 40 members signed up by May 1st, then you can bring a guest. The lunch will be the same as last year, pulled pork sandwiches, on Costanzo rolls, beans & coleslaw. We will have high quality bottled H2O. If you want adult beverages, or pop that’s on you. For those of you that haven’t been, you DON’T need a PA. Fishing License. 2nd Annual Caledonia Trout Festival hosted by Village of Caledonia NY and the Big Springs Museum on Saturday June 1, 2024. Trout Festival which will be on and around the Big Springs Museum's grounds in Caledonia, NY. Lake Erie Chapter-FFI will have an outside membership tabletop (from 9am to 2pm) Tom Rosenbauer will speak at the Trout Festival (2pm to 3pm) on the topics hatch strategies and taking your trout fishing to the next level along with book signings. Sci Night: Introduction to Fly Tying Wednesday June 12 at Tifft Nature Preserve 1200 Furhmann Blvd Buffalo, NY 7:00pm to 8:30pm Don’t miss this indoor presentation and hands-on workshop on the art and science of fly-tying with the Lake Erie Chapter of Fly Fishers International.
